Easing into Samba

Here's a pic from our recent concert at FaniaLive in Vienna. We eased everybody into Samba with tunes from our new CD, Lucky Number, as well as some classic Sambas and Bossas like "Menina Feia" and "Luz Negra". At the end of our program, SambAttac, the Vienna-based Samba drumming group, joined us for a high-spirited rendition of Chico Buarque's "Bom Tempo". Then they got the crowd dancing and swaying with even more energetic drumming and call-and-response. DJ Porno Paul then created a seamless transition, keeping the dancing and party spirit going into the early a.m. A very memorable evening!
