
Çağri Beklen
Guitar
Çağrı Beklen studied classical composition and jazz guitar in Vienna. In 2001, he founded the group "Details", playing guitar and bass with musicians from different cultures on stage and in the studio in Austria. In 2006, he began to compose theater music. Since then, he has won several awards for his compositions, including in the category “best theater music” for productions at the Istanbul State Theater: "Michelangelo" (2012), "Sessizlik" (2013), "V. Frank" (2015), "Eğer Bu Bir Film Olsaydı" (2015), "Kundakçı" (2017),"Coriolanus" (2017) and "Üç Kız Kardeş" (2017). From 2012 to 2016 he taught composition, music theory and orchestral conducting at the State Conservatory of Kocaeli University. Since 2016, he has been working internationally as a freelance composer and guitarist.
Stefan Eibel
Drums & Percussion
Stefan Eibel has led the drumming group Sambattac for about 14 years (samba.attac.at). He works as a percussionist in many projects and also plays the guitar and sings. In recent years, he has also become involved in the theater (subspace.at). He has a 7-year-old daughter. His life motto: "Live and learn how we learn".
Gustavo Escobeiro
Bass
Argentine bassist Gustavo Escobeiro undertook his musical studies in Montevideo (Uruguay), Caracas (Venezuela) and Vienna (Austria). His interest in popular and classical music has led him to play in a wide variety of ensembles and orchestras on stages in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Hungary, Venezuela and Uruguay. Residing in Vienna, he participates in recording sessions of soundtracks for various documentaries and TV series. Currently he is working as a freelance musician on several projects of varying musical styles.
Matthew Marth
Saxophone
Composer and saxophonist Matthew Marth works in a variety of genres, mainly jazz and Brazilian jazz, contemporary chamber music, and experimental electro-acoustic music. He has performed in a number of ensembles, including his former experimental/free improv-oriented band the Rude Revue Arts Ensemble, the Olympia Chamber Orchestra (Washington, USA) and the Vienna International Quintet (jazz). Marth received his basic musical training in the public school system in his home state of Iowa, USA, after which he went on to study both jazz and classical music formally at the university level. In recent years, Marth’s ongoing interest in bossa nova, samba and Brazilian jazz has come to fruition in the form of the Matthew Marth Quartet, whose repertoire is focused on his original bossas and sambas.
